Both provide lifting services, but they serve different roles. Crane trucks can carry cargo as well as lift, while mobile cranes provide dedicated lifting. Send the job requirements so the team can assess the appropriate equipment rather than choosing by appearance.
No. The transport payload and the crane's lifting ability are different considerations. Load weight, reach, lifting height and setup affect the lifting assessment. A truck category is not a crane capacity chart.
A crane truck may suit that scope if both the cargo and lifts are within its assessed capabilities. Provide details for both sites, including placement distance. Separate lifting or transport arrangements may be needed where one vehicle is unsuitable.
Include measured distances, obstacle heights, site photos and the exact landing position in your enquiry. Reaching over an obstacle changes the lifting assessment. The team needs this information before confirming equipment or feasibility.
