Choosing transport starts with the load. Share its length, width, height and weight, together with photographs and any handling requirements. Our team will confirm whether the lowbed arrangement suits the cargo and the access available at both addresses.
Tell us whether machinery can move under its own power or needs loading assistance. If lifting or positioning is part of the job, include it in your enquiry so transport and handling can be planned together. See our machine moving and rigging services for related support.
We offer permit and escort arrangements as part of our abnormal-load transport services. Send the full load details and proposed journey so our team can assess the arrangements needed and include the relevant services in your quote.
Discuss your preferred transport date early. Route planning, permit arrangements, escort coordination and access at the destination should be confirmed before the move is booked. Read more about our abnormal-load transport services.
We take enquiries for Johannesburg and Gauteng transport, journeys across South Africa and cross-border moves. Provide both addresses and, for cross-border enquiries, the destination country and any timing requirements. The team will confirm the route, service scope and information needed for your particular journey.
Review the listed charges and our truck hire rates, then request a quote for your specific load and route. Ask the team to confirm the transport charges and any loading, permit or escort costs applicable to the job.
Request a lowbed transport quote. If your cargo is suited to an open truck deck, you can also compare our flatbed truck options.
Answers to help you plan
Send the machine's height, width, length and weight, including attachments and projections. A lower deck may help with the loaded height, but trailer choice also depends on access, loading and the route. We can assess the transport requirement from those details.
Do not assume the supplied trailer has ramps or that driving on is suitable. Explain whether the machine runs, its ground clearance and the facilities at collection and delivery. The loading method must be agreed before the trailer is booked.
Not necessarily. The complete loaded vehicle and proposed route still need assessment. A lower deck alone does not confirm compliance or remove the need for permissions or escorts where applicable.
Include equipment dimensions and weight, photographs, both addresses, dates and loading and unloading arrangements. Mention whether the machine can move under its own power and any access restrictions. Ask for required permit and escort arrangements to be included in the scope.
Tell us what needs moving, where it needs to go and what access is like. We can help you work out the next step.
