JHB Truck and Crane Hire offers mobile crane hire from 8 to 500 tons. Tell us about your load and site so we can confirm a suitable crane and availability for your job.
A useful quote starts with the load and the site. Send us the details below so we can discuss the lifting requirements before arranging the job.
If some details are still unknown, mention this in your enquiry. Equipment suitability needs to be assessed for the specific lift.
If your job also involves transporting the load, compare our crane trucks and lifting fleet and explain both the transport and lifting requirements in your enquiry.
See our mobile crane hire rates information for pricing context, then request a mobile crane quote for your load, site and schedule. For projects involving machinery relocation, explore our machine moving and rigging services.
Answers to help you plan
Provide the load weight and dimensions, lifting points if known, pickup and landing positions, required reach and height, access and ground information. Photos or drawings help. The crane selection must be based on the actual lift rather than a capacity label alone.
Dedicated lifting and cargo transport are separate requirements. Include both in your enquiry if needed. We can discuss a combined transport and lifting scope and identify what vehicles and handling are required for the journey and placement.
Use the photograph as an example of our work, then let us assess the equipment required for your own site. Confirm the crane and availability through the quote. A similar-looking load does not establish the same weight, reach or setup requirements.
Agree access, the setup and landing areas, site contacts and any load preparation with the team before the job. Identify missing weight or lifting-point information early. The required preparation depends on the assessed lift and should be clear in the plan.
Tell us what needs moving, where it needs to go and what access is like. We can help you work out the next step.
